The mission of the communication department is to enable students to gain the skills, insights, perspectives, and knowledge to become effective, competent, wise communicators as they represent Christ in their professions, communities, and families.
This mission rests on three premises:
Students majoring in communication will develop relational skills, transactional skills, critical thinking, and professional identity.
